The Youth Sports Photography Network Connection, (YSPNC.org), is a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing professional, ethical and moral standards for all providing photographic services to the youth of America.
YSPNC.org is a unique positive environment that will increase your awareness of key issues, and create the opportunity for your involvement and participation to increase the safety and protection of all our youth athletes and students.
The hottest issue to address, and greatest risk to our youth of today, comes from their potential contact with individuals posing as "safe" professionals who then prey on them. This issue is amplified in the photographic industry by the emergence of digital cameras and printers, the development of the Internet, and the marketing of photographs by virtually anybody with a camera.
YSPNC.org has partnered with the National Council of Youth Sports and the National Center for Safety Initiatives to provide the best pathway to become a "KidSafe Photographer" We urge you to read over the articles and information provided in this site and start immediately with your NCSI Criminal Background Screening so that we can finalize the process and issue your 2010 YSPNC.org KidSafe Photographer status!
